Losing your eyebrows changes everything - how you see yourself, how others see you. That’s why this page could change everything for you.

My name is Jason Berndt, and over a decade ago I lost all of my hair — including my eyebrows, eyelashes, and body hair. In 2009, during my first year of military training and Aerospace Engineering studies at the Royal Military College of Canada, I was diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis, a rare autoimmune disease triggered by high stress. Within months, my hair fell out in clumps.

Losing my eyebrows was the hardest part. I remember lying awake in my dorm room at night, wondering what the future would hold for me in relationships, in social situations, in life. My confidence was at an all-time low. Friends and peers often made jokes, comparing me to Gollum or an alien, and while they may have laughed, I was left feeling isolated, ashamed, and invisible.

It’s one thing to be bald – it’s another thing to have no eyebrows.

As I searched over the past 10 years for solutions which specifically addressed my eyebrow hair loss, it became disappointingly clear that very few existed.

I tried pencils..

...for about a year, but as expected, they always looked fake and drawn-on, and with the smallest bit of sweat would smear them right off (bye-bye gym, beach, or even a hot day outside). At night, they washed away in the shower, which meant reapplying them two or three times the next day. It was exhausting and felt like such a waste of time.

And eyebrow wigs..

I also experimented with glue and tape-on "eyebrow-wigs" as well. And I have to say – no dice! They looked way too thick and unnatural, and they never stayed put. More than once, they slipped or fell off in public hot tubs, I was chatting with quasi strangers and they said nothing.  Talk about embarrassing! Instead of restoring my confidence, every option just reminded me how little was out there for people like me.

In living this immeasurable difficulty first-hand that people with no eyebrows face, I felt a need to find an eyebrow solution. I knew I needed a solution that was:

  • Realistic
  • Waterproof
  • Quick to apply
  • Last for days

Even though everyone thought it was a crazy idea, an others even called me a “dreamer” (that product couldn't exist..right?), I didn’t listen to them, because I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.  

My Two Brows..

Using my engineering background, countless late nights, and years of trial and error, I finally created brows that worked. I tested them in the pool, gym, sauna, and even while skiing - and they stayed put. For the first time in years, I felt like myself again. I just looked like a normal bald dude.

And if I chose to wear a wig (which I still do, from time to time), my Alopecia was virtually undetectable!

That’s why I started My Two Brows. These eyebrows are personally created and tested by me, and if you’re thinking, “well, of course Jason wears his own company’s brows,” you’re right. But to me, that just proves how much I believe in them. I wouldn’t wear them every single day if they didn’t work.

But I’m not the only one who is raving about these eyebrows.  Since opening My Two Brows in 2021 I’ve sent out over 20 thousand orders and over 1 million sets of brows all over the world.
